This year’s 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the most buzzing film festival in the Czech Republic, returned in early July and awarded prizes to the winners last weekend. Do you know all of them? Let’s take a look!
GRAND PRIX CRYSTAL GLOBE
Summer With Hope, a Canadian-Iranian co-production by director Sadaf Foroughi won the KVIFF top prize. The film revolves around a young swimming champion and a close bond with his trainer. The bond between two young men triggers disapproval from people around them.
