Czech casting agencies

Kicking it off with Czech Republic, where they not only have a big taste for beer, but also for film and theatre. We're here to tell you exactly who to turn to, when looking for an acting job in TV, film or even commercials.

Jam Casting

Let’s start with local and mainly Czech production focused casting agencies, starting with Jam Casting, a great casting agency founded in 1995, that takes on actors for commercials, TV and of course, film. Their offices reside right in the centre of Prague, so once you’re done with your casting you can even go for a quick stroll around the city.

KN Casting

If you’re looking to be an extra and don’t really want to be in the limelight, you can opt for KN Casting. KN is a casting agency like no other, with great relationships with production offices and incredible professionalism, that look for anyone who’s willing to be extras in commercials, TV and film.

Extrafilms

The next big fish that's worth mentioning, would be Extrafilms. These guys are extremely talented and got their hands on titles like “Narnia” or “Oliver Twist” for that exact reason.

Cinema Casting

Last but certainly not least, Cinema Casting. This casting agency is led by two best friends with a great passion for casting and cinema, just like their name suggests. Their most recent endeavour was with the director Agniezska Holland on the film “Charlatan”.

The main events are of course the international casting agencies whose main focus is on casting the main and secondary characters. They have even used their contacts to get their clients into feature films such as “Jojo Rabbit” or “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”.

Nancy Bishop

One of the biggest casting directors in Czech Republic and Emmy Award Nominee, is Nancy Bishop who’s one of the best when it comes to casting. Not only that! She also has an office in London to be proud of.

Myrnyx Tyrnyx

The casting agency next in line is Myrnyx Tyrnyx, which is an agency that contributes greatly to the success of films shot in Czech Republic, such as “The Zookeeper's Wife”, with its amazing actors.

Well, there you have it. Of course there are plenty of casting agencies all over the Czech Republic that aren’t located in Prague. Hopefully, we were helpful on your journey and we wish you luck with your first casting experience!

Until next time,

Your Hood

PS: Let us know what you think and if we helped you on your acting journey!
